GRADES

Well for the 'grown up' people in college... what did ya'll get this semester??

I made: Physical Science - B (i was supposed to have an a so in the spring i'm going talk to my teacher and might challenge it) Mythology - B (thougth i would have a C)
Chemistry 102 (second chem.) - C (thought i would have a B)
First Aid - B (now i can go get my first aid certified card)

My GPA was like a 2.6...... but cummulative is still only a 2.3. This is my 4th year and i still have about 3 left. I messed up after the first two semesters only b/c i got a g/f. I had a 1.3 after the first year and was on probation. I need a 2.5 to get into the education dept. Going for Secondary education in Biology. I plan on teaching high school then go back and get my masters then teach college then get PhD.... but to get that you have to write a fricken book.

Edit: Oh next sem is gonna be fun. I'm taking history, a biology, speech, and a swimming class. I should do fairly well.

WPI is on the "term" system, so I take three classes a term, but so far this year, I have...

Calc I - don't know yet
Intro to Program Design - A
Intro to Object Oriented Programming - B
Intro to Microeconomics - B
Philosophy and Religion - B

Calc I was a semester long course, in case you are wondering why I only have 5 classes instead of 6...

Next term I have Human and Computer Interaction, Calc II, and Chem I - good stuff.

Hey Hoola, you're at Worcester Polytech? My friend's dad went there.

I don't like grades
I don't like college

I don't know, I could spend yrs spending money on college to get an ok job.
Or go out, get in a business. and now not only make money to sit around and do nothing, but also get paid at my normal job and save $200 a month on taxes because I own a "buisness".

If you wanna get smart, yes college is great, if you wanna get rich, College is not great.

^^so i guess doctors and lawyers aren't rich??

College isnt ment to be making the big bucks while you are in it. You are suppose to make it after you get out. I garentee that when I finish, my income will be way more then yours just because I went to college. Yes, there are exceptions, I konw that cause my cousin. But spending money to go to college, your going to most likely make more money then if you didnt. You have to spend money to make money right.

My situation is alot like Jol102001. My first semester at college I completely bombed. 0.00 GPA. Hella just didnt do any of the work after midterm. Also put on probation, but now I'm at 1.67 or better, because my grades are alot better (A's and B's). That info is for PLU. And at the community college, i made President's List *****!!!

Plus as a doctor or a lawyer not only do u spend many mant years in college, but for what? So they can go to work everyday to make there dollar. They dont go to work, they dont get paid. Go to college to trade Hours for dollars.
You know 95% of the world is an employee and trades hours for dollars and the other 5% is business owners and investors. but that 95% only controls 5% of the worlds money, and that 5% of people control the other 95% of the money! i dont know being in business seems like the smart option to go to here.

Im sorry im not trying to promote my business or ne thing like that, but my friend had a 3.8GPA in college and droped out to do this, and just last month alone made $50,000.00... Oh yeah, and he didnt work, tomorrow if he wants to sit home and watch tv, he still gets paid.

Thats what I call being Rich, Not just having money, But having the time to enjoy your money.

also im not putting people down for going to college, i think tis great that people want to be smart, serisouly. I need people like that, i need doctors and lawyers. God bless them. Im just sayin id rather invest in a business and be able to retire in 3-5 yrs then just finnaly start working in 3-5 yrs.

Moss: I just got started in this business 3 weeks ago, so im still puttin around in my grand am, thats why i try not to talk big and put people down, just giving my view on life. but my best friend and classmate who got into it a yr ago drives an Audi A6, and our friend that got him in it who graduated 2 yrs b4 me, has a $400,000 house an esclade porsche & some kinda BMW SUV type thing or something like that lol.

Well considering so many spelling errors, i can telll that you didn't go to college. I think you were trying to say that doctors only go to work to make money?? So you don't think they do it to help other people?? I promise... if they want to make money there are other jobs that they would like to do and make money. A college grad would get a job over a college drop out any day of the week, and most of the time despite all the experience he/she has.

i guess you didnt read my post about how i just got into it 3 weeks ago, and no there is no such thing as get rich quick, it all takes time. I think some people r just too scared to make money that they just come back and say how **** a scam when its all just so easy. the part about the $200, all i was saying is that just by having the title of "business Owner" you qualify for many business deductions to save $200-$300 a month on your taxes at your normal job alone.

and u say why doesnt every1 esle do it? cuz most ppl dont know about it, and the ppl that do either get in it(Millions in america are) and the ones that dont are like you and say dumb **** like that, its so easy ppl think it is a scam, or u get some1 thats intrested and then u have some1 dumb like you sayin how its a scam and ruinin there dreams.

if it was a scam why would big compaine like MCI, Cingualr, DISH Network, and more do business with us? THEY WOULDNT!
plus why would our group give away $60,000 in may to 30 kids in teh cities in scolarships? yeah thats what i thought.. if you dont like it fine, but dont diss it when u know nothing about it, and ruin some1 elses dreams.

Not me alone, but our group in the business. our goal is to eventually give away 60k a month. we follow religon alot, and god was nice enough to give us this great money. but with that money you have to go out and help the less fortunte. but yes we gave each kid $3000 so by the time there 18 they will have enought to go to college, also once a month we paid for a class for them and there parents to teach them about business and life and **** like that.

Yeah I don't think my grades need to be posted.

serious maybe you should get a life other then sitting on the internet talking trash to people. Now that will get you far in life! I was done with this subject as you can tell by the fact I haven't posted anything else, but you had to go and bring it back up. Good Job!

Banned does have a point though, no one cares.

Who cares if he makes the money or not...I personally could care less if he is lying or telling the truth...I could photoshop myself a check for whatever amount you want...but who really cares..I dont think he has to prove himself to anybody...if he makes that much then good for him...senseless bickering...

I got a 3.86 this semester to make the Dean's list. Granted I was doing my internship and had another 2 credit class but i'm finally done with college graduated on the 18th with a 2.77 overall.

New Jersey Institute of Technology--

Graduated this December with a 3.84GPA w/ a Management Degree and IS and E-Commerce specializations.

I went to college because it beat being kicked out of the house. Full scholarship. My career plans don't have anything to do with higher education, and that's fine. We're all free to pursue our own interests. After all, this is America, and there are a million ways to make a buck if you're dedicated.
