Last time I sent out a money order, I was told I filled it out wrong. I'm just making sure I fill this one out right.

It's got three fields...

"Pay to the order of"
"Purchaser, Signer for drawer"
"Address"

Its supposed to be like a check, so Pontiac is correct.

On a check you have your name and addy and pay to the order of. icon_cool.gif

You also have to endorse it.

Thanks Phil. I almost didn't catch that. I'll get this right one of these days.

EDIT

On the back, it says "Payee's Endorsement." Does that mean my signature?

Do you sign the back of a check when you put it in your account?

I normally do. So if you gave me a money order. I sign the back and put my account info.

Treat it like a check. It will be alot easier. icon_cool.gif

Hmm you might not actually have to endorse (sign) it. I guess it depends on who issues the money order.

It looks like the postal money orders issued by the united states postal service (usps) do not have a place for the purchaser (you) to sign:

Yea, if you're not sure just ask the person working where ever you're getting the money order. Otherwise go to the Post Office icon_smile.gif

I don't like paypal for getting money, they take like 3% off so i don't get all the money.

My bank account, has a Debit card linked to it. Has all the abilities of a Mastercard. If I try to charge too much to my card. It will accept but then my bank charges me a 10 dollar amount for draining my account. icon_cool.gif
