those cathodes are bright as hell. they blow regular neons away. but the color is a bit ligher ( not as deep or rich a color) but they are great. i only use cathodes now and will never go back to using regular neon except in a ub kit. and im building a cathode ub kit now with 10 cathodes total. i tested one strip with 4 cathodes and they lit up my whole basement in a nice green color.

for a darker color, coloring the outer tube with a perm. marker usually works.

I did in your other thread.

To see if they work put the red wire to the postive and the black wire to ground using the tranny.

Fused battery is a good source.

You need the tranny no matter what you do.

Is that quick enough? icon_cool.gif

You mean your amp power wire?

It could be a connection or anything. You need to take out the tranny and tubes and test them. Then you can run another power wire off your amp power wire as long as you use a smaller fuse. Your CCs are too small to blow that large fuse in your amp wiring kit, so therefore they would fry/fire. icon_cool.gif

With the specifications listed, would it be safe to assume that the sound controllers can only handle 20mA? I need to know this for when I go shoping some some transistors.
