O yeah, they find my faceplate uynder the seat... but dont notice my g/f's purse under the seat next to me.... They leave the amp cover and a DVD thats in plain view on the back seat, dont touch my phone charge.... Hell, they left a 5 pack of 60 amp fuses I had sitting there.... STUPID ASS THEIFS!!! O yeah, some lady saw this happen.... She calls the police, doesnt scream, or walk over there to scare them, just calls the police and watches them drive away,. She got the color / model of the car... BUT NOT THE LISENCE PLATE!!! I seriously hate people.... Lucking pork is awesome and is giving me a deck to use, and doesnt care too much about the sub/amp/cap/box he lost.... O well, PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS!!! If anyone ever sees my subbox (its a one of a kind, pictures in the gallery) I will pay you 200 bucks to take a picture of it, kick the **** out of who has, a picture of them bleeding all over, and then just walk away... I dont care about my ****, I just want to see them get the crap kicked out of them.... Alright im done ranting about these stupid ****.... J/P, if I had a little brother, I'd be out doing the same exact thing. hope you can find your stuff, and put the hurt on.

find the car, find out who the owner is, find out where he lives, do everything legit at first, file a police report and wait a few weeks to see if anything pans out. if nothing comes up after a week or two, make their life a living hell, do as much **** to them as possible without getting caught

I wouldnt kick there asses...simply find the car and take their stereo and anything else they have in the car and take your stuff back...then when they say "hey im gonna call the cops" just say "go for it, good luck explaining the stolen property in your car retard".....personally humiliation is so much sweeter then retaliation against their body...cause if you whoop on em, they only hurt for awhile, but if you take all their crap and they cant do anything about it, thats when it really hits home icon_cool.gif

I hope you get all your stuff back, I really hate low lifes who cant get off their lazy asses to go get a job and pay for things they want....Instead they target hard working people like yourself who worked hard for the things they have....I hope Pork finds them and teaches them a lesson about stealing and common courtesy biglaugh.gif

It's actually quite common that people cut wires that can be unplugged. You'd think they'd unplug it, But they break out the knife/cutters and just cut everything in sight as they want to get in and get out as fast as possible. It takes 2 seconds longer to unplug the sub, and that's 2 seconds they don't want to spend.

Someone stole a Plasma TV from a house we installed it in only 2-3 days prior. Nobody lived in the house, the house came with a 42" Plasma TV and a surround sound Bose system as stock. The owner bought like 5, then turns around and re-sells them.

Well these people backed their vehicle into the garage, closed the garage door, and jimmy'd the door open to the house inside the garage. You'd think at that point with nobody living there, they'd have all the time in the world to take their time taking the tv off nicely... what do they do instead? They grab the TV off the mount and just yank it from the wall. All of the regular cables pull off no problem.. but Coax connectors are screwed on, not slipped on. So they ripped a piece of the tuner right off the TV... So they now have a broken TV... When it comes down to it, thieves are idiots, and that's why they get caught.

We've also had people steal light cans (you can buy them for less than $20 at home depot) right out of the ceiling of houses in production, and not touch the $350 pair of Bose speakers sitting right next to it.

I wouldn't be suprised if your stuff ended up on Ebay. That seems to be where people sell all of this broken stuff they steal... "product is untested"... well duh.. you only have like 20 different types that you stole the night before.. you assume they work, but you'd not going to sit there and plug speakers in and test them...

Sorry for your loss =(

just backing up the thieves are idiots statement....Sophomore year of highschool someone stole the pitching machine for our school baseball team.....5 days later the pitching machine showed up on Ebay and it just so happend that a local police officer was looking for a used machine to help his son practice his batting....the officer noticed it was several kids selling the item when he went to look at it and pulled the vin number off the machine and referenced it with the schools records...sure enough it was the stolen maching from the school....These kids should have paid more attention in class icon_rolleyes.gif

All criminals are EXTREMELY sloppy and most of the crimes are not planned and more of a opportunity thing.....most likely they have heard your car around town or it was in a secluded area so they just broke in to see what they could find...im guessing they left the purse cause they don't know what to do with copying ID's and stealing identities and were looking for things they could sell...They saw the deck and knew you had to have a sub so thats what they went for....quick and they got enough to buy that next bag of weed or whatever else they plan on doing with it.....Its obviously someone in the area who most likely scopes out the movie theaters looking for targets of opportunity...And with a purple car it will show up eventually.....

Criminals always get caught no matter how many crimes they commit. There is no such thing as a perfect crime....did you have your car fingerprinted? most incidents the retards dont even where gloves and touch the door handles or trunk lid to open it icon_rolleyes.gif

Keep us updated on what happens and if you can get your stuff back....right now I'm hoping you and Pork find these idiots before the police do biglaugh.gif

Police wont be involved, they never helped me before.

My guy Rocks heard from a bird that their is a fresh 10 for sale on the south side, so tomorrow night he is going to " check it out "

Even if we dont find it, I'm glad my brother didn't get out of the movie early enough to see what was goin on. His brain works the same as mine in the sence that it doesnt work until its too late biglaugh.gif

I told his ass to keep the faceplate on his person at all times. I learned the hardway back when I was 16, and now he learned the hardway too.

What a **** week. Yesterday I was arrested and today my work gets ganked. I just re-did that **** wiring too. Ah well, I'm gonna build a box for a w7 to throw in that piece when I am done baggin my van

I was jusr arguing with him about insurance yesterday morning too. Insurance will NOT cover any aftermarket stereo equip UNLESS you specifically say you want custom vehicle insurance, which I have on both my rides

i only have liability, i paid 1700 dollars for the car, and pay almost 400 every 6 months for insurance, If i added all the necessary insurance to covery theft/loss of property, it would be something insane like 800 bucks every 6 months.... Id pay for my car and stereo equipment in 18 months..... ANyway, if I get more expensive stuff I will get the added insurance, pork has it and pays like 1000 every 6 months.... kids get raped on that ****

Mav is right, thieves just cut wires, they don't unplug things. They usually don't even unscrew decks, they use the 'foot on dash and pull' technique, leaving your dash ruined and all your wires pulled out and cut.

Thieves see those detachable face-plates now and know its in the car, just hidden somewhere. How many people do you actually know that carry it with them?

As for the woman that called the police, if I was an American I wouldn't scream either. You said itself yourself, if you had come out 15 mins earlier you may have been shot, you never know.

As for the purse, these thieves sund like amatuers, out for a quick buck. Credit cards and IDs are worthless, that's too much hassle. They were looking for your deck, subs and amp. I bet they didn't even look under the other seat once they found your faceplate. I also bet they wouldn't have stolen your deck if they hadn't found the faceplate.

Insurance never covers additional equipment added. You must pay more for more coverage. Now if you wanted to claim a stack of CDs/DVDs were stolen... you can usually claim CDs up to a certain value. Insurance companies caught onto this type of fraud and actually make you buy new CDs, not just give you the cash anymore.

Good luck recovering any of it, sorry about your loss.

Sorry to hear that. I know how it is to have everything taken and all the wires cut, took me a hour to put a factory deck in after my **** was stollen. Look at the bright side, you know what they drive so if you see the car you may be able to find who did it.
