A new Oznium layout and site are in the works.
What features would you like to see for the online store? Real time inventory checking/how many days it usually takes to ship More accurate shipping quotes USPS/UPS Product reviews, cross selling (so when you buy some LEDs, the store tries to sell you some wire and tape as well Accounts so if you are a returning customer your address / billing info can be saved. I am considering ditching paypal and only accepting mastercard/visa along with checks/money orders. A new supplier has been found for LEDs so my price will be dropping drastically (probably around 99 cents per LED) and there will probably be a flat shipping fee of $2.00 Any suggestions? I look forward to developing an even better source for lighting, audio, and video products. |

i like all the ideas you listed i think they would make it better....and i think ditching paypal would be good too..i have nothing wrong with it(i have a verified account)but it could make checkout faster..because if you do make accounts for existing customers then all the customer would have to do is click "buy" when thier in the shopping cart and the rest would already be filled out and the order would be sent right to you(unless thier not paying with plastic money)
btw...the new LEDs your going to have are going to be just as bright right??....its just a new supplier not different LEDs right? |

not if you get your account verified....the only thing abuot verified is that you can accept credit card payment but they charge you a very small fee...ex i sold something esterday and they guy paid me with credit card through paypal..he paid me $20 and after the fee i had $19.12..so its no big deal..but i doubt phill has to pay a fee since its a business...am i correct phil?

Use PayPal as a last resort. So have it, but don't announce it as a payment option. But if you have a homie like me that wants his stuff ASAP, use it for that.
As for other suggestions -- can't think of any right now, but I'm always here if you need some help. Summer is here and I have some spare time! |

Paypal's fees are just part of doing business... Accepting credit cards have fee's too. So if I accept paypal on a fusion kit for $264.99, paypal takes out $7.98 leaving me with $257.01... The credit card fee's are a little more but I think it will bring in a lot more business. |

Tim can have his opinion but if it is coming from anger over not being a mod anymore that is not cool.
I'd like him to stay here... Mod's are not supposed to be the super powerful... they aren't more important than anyone else... they are just supposed to help out making sure people don't post inappropriate stuff... or if something is in the wrong category, then they should move it... stuff like that. I might drop paypal from the site but if you email or contact me I can probably make an exception for you to pay directly with paypal. |

Where in that statement of mine did I say that I wanted to fight you or that I was a badass? Just curious? I simply made a point of calling out your stupidity. You say that the site sucks, but you keep posting???????????? You say that you were domodified for no reason, yet we all know that you were changing peoples post. Just because you get drunk and then post doesn't mean that you should not still be held accountable for your ******* posts. That's like a drunk driver saying that it was not his fault that he killed somebody...because he was drunk. I was never trying to start a fight with you, and I am STILL NOT trying to start a fight with you...what's the point...we can't throws blows through the computer screens! So, in response to your statement "**** OFF"...I'd like to say "**** YOU TOO BUDDY," think before you post. By the way, the part where I said "ALBERTO HAS SPOKEN," that was a joke! Who the hell really says that and means it? Last edited by CRAZZY_AL on Wed Jun 11, 2003 10:47 am, edited 1 time in total |

i think the reason that me and you are no longer mods is that he took the 2 that were mods the longest, there really is never any reason to us your mod powers to much on here so how cares.
