stay away from that US Acoustics amp, at least IMO. You know I was looking at that radio the other day trying to figure out a way around it. And for now all me and the guys could figure out was fiberglass, and some trial and error. More trial less error.

Omega, why do you say stay away from US Acoustics.

I would recommend them, if not because they're a great value, then because (if you get em from Crutchfield) they have a 3 year warranty.

I have never had good experience with them, I don't care if it's a 90 day warranty or 3 years, a warranty does cover crappy sound. Value wise yea it's cheaper then some others but you do get what you pay for.

the "crappy" sound from the US amp will still sound better than the power from the factory HU. There are better amps out there, definately, but finding good amps in your price range can be difficult. If you have $300 to spend on an amp, I would recommend spending more than half that.

Mazda is wierd. Most companies if they have a dash like that include a replacement panel with a DIN-sized space for an aftermarket HU.

If you wait a lil while, or contact someone like Crutchfield to see if they have (or know of ) a dash kit for your car you might be able to find one.
