(/begin excitment)I Might be getting rid of my stinking civic and getting a 1991 firebird formula WS6.....tomorrow me and my dad are taking it to one of his friends shops to check it out.... overall its a decent car.... the engine runs EXCELLENT for a 1991 with 180,000 km on it... most of them highway... oh yea its a 5.0L 305 TPI....its gonna cost me 3,500$ plus it needs some exhaust work to pass safety..... but i figure i can sell my car for around 5,000$....a 1993 Civic Si.. with only 110,000 km....so i can use some of that left over money to fix it up....i hope i get it..(/end excitment)

LOL. Thanks Stasis. Someone had to tell him. Pretty sure the whole [thing] [/thing] is a vB and BB thing. A Message Board code.

About the car. Sounds sweet.

WS6s (Ram Air) are 350s and not available in 91. I believe they started in 96? I think...91s came with 305 5.0L TPI 5 speeds or 350 5.7L TPI Autos...so you got that part right...Also had 305 TBI 5.0L with 170hp...yuk!

you are wrong my friend about the WS6 part..... its a rare option to find on the formula's... not to many were produced in that gen... it isnt a ram air option like the newer gens had.... its more of a suspension upgrade.....but yes the car is the 305 5.0L TPI 5 speed.... and it'll be infront of my house tomorrow....im paying the guy tomorrow and im pretty sure he'll be driving it over... the only thing that sucks is i cant drive it till i sell my civic.......first modification to it... is... a full exhaust system.. header to tips!!! I CANT **** WAIT!

yea i'd rather have a 350....but those are even harder to come by....i'll take what i can get... doubling my HP and tripling my TQ for less money... you dont see me complaining.... i would like a borla system.... but that would eat up all my budget....im probably going to with either a flowmaser cat-back to hooker headers and Y-pipe... or just go completely Hooker....we'll see what the funds are like after i sell my POS ricermobile!

IMO its better to save and do things right the first time instead of doing it w/ half ass parts and then spending more in teh future on doing it the right way.

I apologize if that didn't make sense, I'm tired.

depends on what your talking about......with it being a 305 or with it being hooker or flowmaster..... because hooker can make a decent part.....

flowmaster usually rates on the bottom end of dyno numbers comparisons because its baffled designs cant outflow a straight through muffler....but i dont know how much of a difference that would make with the F-body desinged mufflers since their those funny huge ones.... anyways the cars outfront of my house right now.... i'll have some pictures up later tonight....there was a wicked storm that came through and the powers been out forawhile!

I dunno about out there, but out here, it is the seller's responsibility to make sure the vehicle passes smog before it can be sold. They have any rules out there that require the seller make sure the vehicle passes all of your safety inspections etc.. before he can sign the title to you? That should help in costs =)

passed the e-test..... but dosent need to pass safety.... the car can just be sold as is....so basically in not running condition.....but it runs damn strong!....but yea usually most people will safety and e-test the car before they sell it.... i'm pretty sure theres no laws....but i'd be changing the exhaust anyways and it needs that for safety.. so kill 2 birds with one stone kinda.....
