tho i still think its BS cause ive drove by tons of cops with no problems for about a year now! tho i just left my friends house from playing video games and a block down the road at a stop sign a cop coming from the oposite direction pulls me over right after the stop sign BS
tho he said it was illegal for red blue green colors to be visable from the front of the vehicle but thats BS cause i asked another cop and he said as long as the bulbs are hidden they are legal in indiana! he was looken to ticket me for something! after i got pulled over he asked me to turn my headlights back on for a second. JUST LOOKEN FOR SOMETHING!!!!! also complained about my liscence plate being tilted. and he ended up not finding anything BUT i hadnt signed my registration card! thats all the ticket says. non-moving, registration box checked! now if my underbody lights were illegal wouldnt he have checked the "equipment violation" with "other" and he just wrote in "improper Display" which i assume was because of my liscence plate tilted cause my flip kit, and my trailer hitch/ RAM STICK. LOL ive thought about making a special bracket for the liscence plate so its not tilted anyways so they cannt say anything! needless to say im gonna keep rocken the lights!!!!!!!! i dont drive as much at night anyways so they arent always ON ;) and the chance of running into that pric is highly unlikely anyways ;) tho funny thing was when he came up to my truck he even said. "youve got a nice truck and all, but ya cannt have green lighting visable from the front of the vehicle, and well its realy visable." im not **** you guys thats exactly what he said. LMFAO.... i love these bright as F*** cathodes |

Red is for cops, blue is for fire dept, and green is for EMT/ambulance. (I'm pretty sure that's the color assignments...) They're "reserved" colors for emergency personnel. |

never ever seen an emergency vehicle with green lights. cops here use blue/red and so does the fire trucks. volunteer firefighters use blue strobes only. and the ambulances and emt blazers use red/white/blue.
ill have to get a pic of one of the blazers one day they have more strobes on this one suv then the entire police dept! its amazing to see it coming down the road at night! |

easy to get out of that ticket......No probable cause to stop you as the reason he stopped you was not because he noticed your registration card was not signed
He had no probable cause for the stop, therefor he would have never found the registration card....case dismissed especially since he didnt give you an equipment violation |

The laws regarding emergency vehicles and warning light colors vary from state to state and even town to town. For instance, Pork got a green/white LED dashlight, so the cops WOULDN'T hassle him, but i've heard of states where the volunteers (firefighters and EMTs) are allowed to have green "courtesy lights" for use when responding to the station, or a call.
Kyle is right, did the cop ever tell you what cause he had for pulling you over? |
