I have been banned 3 times from SG....

To be fair, some were deserved, others not. However, Adam does put up with quite a lot of crap.

Matt, your banning was unwarented. Others was not, however. Adam has the board up for US. He is not required to have it up. I talked to Jack a longggg time ago and he was like "Yah, we don't even need to have the board up, Adam maintains it though."

I'm not saying that Adam doesn't go off his rocker sometimes, but the fact is, is he is doing us a favor by having it.

All i can say is,"DAMN!." i haven't been to this board in a couple of days and when i finally do check it, i find a thread that is about absolutely nothing. i mean come on... you guys are arguing ONLINE. if you are that **** at each other then meet somewhere and duke it out. But seeing as how y'all live so far apart, i don't think that will ever happen. so my best advice (which is up to you whether you take it or not) is to just be quiet, stay cool, and concentrate on what this board is about... "GLOW." which the last time i checked has nothing to do with grammar...

Well I only read a few posts. But Matt was banned for a reason. He broke the forum rules. I don't recall exactly WHY, because lots of people who get banned break the rules and theres a bunch of em. But I ban for legit reasons. Just look at the attitude he has now on phils board and how hes cusing me out, and you think he probably did NOTHING to get banned? Come on now. I run a big message board and I try and keep things under control. Im sure phil knows how it is. I know a few people started their own and then came back to me apologizing because they learned how tough it is to keep the board under control. I cant just let everyone post whatever they feel like, so people who break the rules, get banned. Some get warnings, some don't. I look at almost everything and i have people submitting problems to me. I know one weekend i had a LOT Of complaints about something, matt's post might have been one of them, but believe me i had reasons. I don't just BAN because i dont like someone or because of something really dumb, theres always a legit reason. Ive never BANNED someone because i didn't like them first of all, second of all if you don't like why you were banned you can discuss it with me calmly. Ive had people email me with much vulgar and yelling and expecting me to let them back, it doesnt work that way. You have a problem you politely talk to me about it.

matt, is the begining of your email address trax?? by any chance, if so then i have a LIST of reasons yuo will stay banned as i havce a few emails from you with much vulgar, but if not, submit a contact request and talk to me calmy, otherwise not much else i can say.

I have a question for Adam or Phil. Do you have to go through every single post that is posted on the boards? Or do you just look at a post someone complained about? I never thought about how much work it would be to start a board and maintain it.

I don't have to go through all the posts although I usually go through most of them.

I don't think Adam goes through nearly all the posts since there are just too many for one person to handle.

Im sure Phil has the ability to make it so he hasta authorize every post. I know I do, I dont use it but if people don't start acting more mature I may initiate that. Its not a hard thing to do. Everyone thinks they can act however they want cause its a message board, and throw out all respect for people, WRONG. You show respect on a messge board as you would in real life, or you don't use the message board. We're not in kindergarten here folks, no matter what message board you shouldnt hafta have someone hold your hand to post a message, so just use some common sense before posting.

I know the feeling, being an admin at Aleromod.com we go through the same thing, people get outta line, and must be banned. It's apart of having a professional board and I've had to explain that to alotta people. You have to remember, companies and many businesses look at these board maybe considering a deal of some sorts. Now if they see ****this and **** that, then they will lose respect for the members they are about to do business with. Its really just from an aspect of acting your age.
