1991 Dodge Spirit R/T = 6.5 0-60 and 15.0 1/4 mile
1985 Chrysler LeBaron GTS Turbo 8.1 0-60 and 16.2 1/4 mile

those were the only 2 similar ones i could find... maybe those will help you out...

yea i its somewhere in between. either way the car can be a great sleeper and i think i could get it have it painted and spend 400 on a nitrous kit and have a decent car.

Why not just bump up the PSI on the turbo?

Nitrous is pointless on a Turbo DOdge. For the 400 you spend on the nitrous you could get a graniger valve and a zener diode and up the boost and fuel. Or, replace the stock Mitsu turbo for a Garret T3 off of a Turbo 2, can get one of those for real cheap, especially from a junkyard. Rip off the stock intake system and make your own out of PVC pipe and some rubber connectors or something. Throw on a Rad/IC setup from a Turbo 2 car and a 2.5" exhaust and the performance will be enough to satisfy you. Rice it out and I'll hunt you down. The Spirit R/T had a Turbo 3 in it, so the performance of the RT is nowhere near the Turbo 1. The LeBaron is a bit closer, expect mid to low 16s depending on what type of preventative maintence has been done to it in the past and what over all condition its in. Also, the tranny. Auto or 5spd. If its an Auto, ditch the tranny and pick up a 5spd. Chryslers Auto trannys from the 80s were some of the worst ever made.

kk i will see what i can do, however i am not ditching my plans on a 300zx tt next year to try and supe up a turbo dodge. its fwd turbo and the faster i make it the more of a waste of money it would be. i dont plan on spending more than 1500 total for the car and performance just so i got something to beat around on until i get the funds for a z. which in my mind z>all dodge .... icon_biggrin.gif
i never was too much a fan of mopar though i drive them and know what power they have, the power doesnt help at all with the suspension and the braking system. also unfortunatly for me i am yet to find any turbo at any of the 5 junkyards i have searched in.

that spirit needs alot of body work and a new ac unit. i tried talking the lady down and she keeps saying "oh no low miles good deal!" and i am like kbye. could have been fun, but i dont want a new money pit. first i need to settle this insurance **** with my system before i concider a new ride. so the money will keep building.

Yeah, that doesn't sound like too good of a deal. And TDs are money pits, so avoid avoid avoid.
