if anything the crack would have given you horsepower..........
the new one will prob just make the car quieter.

99.99999% no increase in power. should be quieter if the crack is big enough.

yes headers on a car, in fact most of the exhaust is all bolt on just gotta go under the car. occationally you need to fit a muffler if you throw on a fartcan.

I have to agree with the others Silentdawn, if you cannot bolt some headers on a side ways 4 banger then you need to step out of the performance game.

Good floor jack + Jack stands = $100 and a decent tool set with a torque wrench would be another $100 (not everyone needs snap on tools). You still will end up saving a $100. As for no place to work, you don't have a drive way then park it on the street (if it is a slow residential street) or go to a friend's house.

you can rent tools aswell... im sure a socket set wouldnt cost much at all to rent...and if you dont know anyone that has a jack or anything...you can be really ghetto (i dont really recommend this) but slowly drive the one side of your car up a curb..... that maybe give you enough room to squeeze underneath the car....but 100$ is really steep for a 30 min bolt on job...
