Somebody, wanna help me out with laws

Anyone know if having cathodes on inside my truck while driving is gunna get me pulled over in MA? or how bout an UB on while driving? IN any state?

Underbody kits that are red, blue, or yellow are illegal while driving/moving because they resemble "cops". Any other color while you're driving should be ok, as long as the bulbs aren't showing. You can have blue, red, and yellow underbody lights on while you're parked, and any other color that you wish.

I've heard read and blue are illegal, but I've never heard of yellow being illegal. On the Florida statutes I printed out it only says that red and blue are for use only on service vehicles. Where'd you here about yellow?

Come to think about it, I have no freakin clue where I heard that! I heard it from a friend I think, but who the heck knows their reliability...haha.

Actually in Florida you can have red or blue, as long as the bulb doesnt show.

Down here in Clearwater Beach (know for being the strictest in the area) there are a couple of cars with red and blue neon UBs. Just no bulbs showing.

I though RED and BLUE are illgeal on the road while Cruisin/Driving and is mainly for shows but I dont know anyway Everything is LEGAl cept RED and BLUE on the road. Whats why I went for White UB.

Thats why I cant wait to get Fusion UB...

If that's true then that's awesome. Come to think of it, I drove by a cop with red on the Fusion kit and he didnt do anything. So maybe your right.

It also depends on the cop and his mood if your going to get pulled over. Blue and Red are illegal here but the cops dont care if the bulbs aren't exposed.

Here the only thing that is legal is white for front and sides and red in the back.

Anything else you'll most likely get pulled over for.

Especially in my county.

Wow, thats weird, i've never heard of different colors for different sides of the car...

Its called...

"No colors besides white and/or amber may be displayed in the front of the car."

"No colors besides red will be displayed in the rear of the car."

Yadda yadda. You get the idea.

like the white in the front would be headlights and red in back is brake lights.

we all do, but there are some laws that i do think are good ones like headlight strobes think of what could happen if anyone could use them on the road.

yeah..some ppl just aren't very bright. idiots always ruin it for everyone

Dont we all, I mean c'mon those lights doesnt do anything like strobe or anything. They know better. I wish it was LEGAL for all states or so.

ive asked several cops/sherifs around indiana. and the only constant answer ive gotten is red blue green are illegal IF THE BULBS ARE SHOWING!!!!!!!!!
if the only thing that lites up is the ground thier no illegal.
i had blue on my 66impala and had to use a L channel to hide the bulbs because i couldnt mount them high enough to hide the bulbs. and on my friends 95 grand am i just instaled some chrome tap to the sides to block the light from the sides. never got pulled over! well for those.LOL
but for some other neons i instaled alittle to high in my old impala i got warnings for them

why would green be illegal?????????????

they said that those where police and ambulance colors. i dont get the green either..... ive never seen green on any ambulanaces or cop cars.... but i had 4outta 6 saw those three colors

They put green revolving lights on the tops of fire engines and ambulances around here...
