i purchased two licence plate LEDs, and was wondering if anyone knows of a tutorial or walkthrough to installing them? i have a 2005 honda accord.

just a word of advice. unless there red and going on the rear plate or amber on the front plate dont drive with them on. messing with your plates is one of the easiest ways to get a ticket.

had green led bolts on mine and got ticketed... but install is easy.. just cut and splice into the existing license plate light pos and neg.. only white is legal to light up the plate though..

white is not legal in the rear if the bulb is pointing straight back as in the case of license plate bolts. you could hook em to the reverse lights tho.

hmm, maybe, all i know the cop said, only white to illuminate the plate... didnt think about direction, they told me white was fine.., but after that, i just didnt even bother with it... nice idea to hook to reverse lights though..

icon_eek.gif I must be really lucky in my parts then.....I've got all green exterior lighting on my buick...Turns, side markers, license plate, reverse. Been pulled over many times for my UB but never for my other lights. 9 times this year alone and still no tickets. biglaugh.gif

wow..you ARE lucky..but then again the cops dont care about lighting much around here either
