KVR Carbon Fiber Semimetallic Front Brake Pads

Eibach Anti-Roll Sway Bar Kit

APEXi SAFC II (waste of money... if your going to get serious.. get it dyno tuned)

NGK IX-Series Iridium Spark Plug (another waste... simple copper plugs will do you much better... alot easier to read for tuning purposes)

Unorthodox Racing Ultra S Underdrive Aluminum Crank Pulley (find out how your stock one is balanced and how this underdrive one is)

Fidanza Ajustible Cam Gear (a good purchase.. especially if your going to get a cam in the future)

Fidanza Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel (another good purchase... it'll rev a little quicker depending on how much lighter you go over stock)

KVR Carbon Fiber Semimetallic Front Brake Pads (if your going to go fast... you need to stop somehow)

Eibach Anti-Roll Sway Bar Kit (good purchase)

Eibach Suspension Pro-System (is this springs bushing or what?... im assuming springs... make sure to get an alingment after their put in)

Injen RD Series Cold Air Intake (i'd personally make my own...sure might look a little more ghetto.. but saves alot of money for the same thing)

B & M Short Throw Shifter (i vote stick with the stock shifter...in some cars short throws can prove to be deadly by ruining the syncros from shifting to quickly...along with excessive vibrations be transfered if its an aluminum shifter)

heres an idea on the idea of an intake, go to home depot get 2 sets of aluminum flex tubing, one to go over the other, put an insulator in between them, run the tubing throttlebody to headlight cavity, you have 4 headlights right? remove a running light or both to be symetrical and have the intake poke through it. it will be very effective and people at shows will like it. names arent always where its at. but i would say make it semetrical and remove the other one and make it appear to have dual intake, even though it will be ineffective. just make sure you have a good filter back a little ways in the intake, and a bypass valve. also might want to make some holes for any sensors in between the throttle body and end of the intake.
idk for sure how well it will work on your car, but i helped someone do it on an 90's monte, turned out really nice and actually gave alittle pep to it. at least he said so...

W/e you do dont put ur intake threw ur damn headlight if you plan on driving the car. If you get water in ur intake ur engine is ****, i know a guy that had it happen. As for the parts you chose, they look like a good start. You may consider getting the first gen. SAFC though, iv'e heard they are better. Everything else looks good, hope you enjoy building your car.

your engine wouldnt hydrolock unless you submerged the intake in water.... ever hear of how they steam clean engines??? by spraying mist's of water into it.... if you run a filter then you shouldnt see any problems... how do i know... i ran a similar ram air type setup on my civic for almost a year.... threw snow and rain... hydrolock nope... it would look a tad ghetto and since your going for the show side instead of performance then it would do you really know good in the bling department....

I LOVE my B&M for the neon. it is also complimented by solid bushings from the shifter to the tranny and solid motor mounts. YES there is more vibration but its so much better for driving with.

i dont even think you need to argue that whether water would get in the engine or not? read the whole post, i mentioned a filter and a bypass valve, havent heard much about the bypass valves, but i know a nice little k&n chillin around 5 inches back from the open scoop would do the job fine.

if your saying it will the homemade way... im saying it wont... because ive ran a setup like that.... for well over a year... it collected more dust and bugs and leaves and such... but i use to drive through thunderstorms... and snow storms and never had a problem...

plugs such as those are only necissarry when you have an engine that needs them. platinums are probably best for a daily driver.
imo i wont waste money on anything performance unless i am going to get that car to break 13 secs by the time i am done throwing money at the engine. i dont like seeing the whole rice scene of "i got a cai and a catback and still running 16's and 17's"
i think theres also a difference between performance for speed and for looks.
i personally think that a cold air or short ram arent necissarry performance as much as something that looks pretty when you pop the hood. same with mufflers. its more of a look.

When I change my plugs I'm going with some NGK TR55IX Iridium plugs. The main advantage of Iridium plugs is that they can last a very long time. If it's not difficult to change your plugs then just go with some copper plugs.
