I'M IN LOVE!!!

If they build it, I will buy!

I'm gonna stick it out with my little shoebox on wheels, and get one of these. The link for the video of the unveiling or if you just want to see the pictures they are at Chevy's Website, but here's the link to save you time.

www.chevy.com

I used to call the IROC-Z28's 5.7 ltr Mustang Eater. This New Generation Concept Camaro will ROCK if true to its specs of 6.0ltrs & 400-450 HP. 21's in the front & 22's in the rear, IT SCREAMS DUB EDITION!!

Meh. It's not very imaginative. Not the prettiest thing on four wheels at all. And with the way the market is looking now, even if they do build, the only buyers will be retired baby boomers and kids with Dad's money. Not enough of a market to make Chevy the profit they need to warrant producing the car for more than a few years. Eventually, it will probably die off for the same reason it did the last time, lack of sales. Now, Chrysler , on the other hand, is where it's at right now as far as the automotive market is concerned. 300 is a hit, new Charger is a hit, Magnum was a hit when it came out, and with the Challenger announced for 2007, they can't go wrong right now. Not to mention that with SRT Versions of virtually every car they offer, it's hard not to love Chrysler right now. Plus, Ford is cutting Jobs, GM isn't doing much better....But I digress.

IMO it looks too much like the new mustang...the side body lines and front end are just too similar....I personally dont really like the look of the new 05 stangs unless you drop about 10K in parts to mod it into a car I would think about driving because of the ugly body style...

Personally I think its butt ugly...the Challenger on the other hand is GORGEOUS...just too bad it weighs over 4000lbs so its gotta have that hemi if it wants to go anywhere...

saw it in magazine and internet...when its off and not in drive, the pedals and wheels double as controllers for xbox games. also its a 400hp v8 for under 25g

chances are itll be oversold either way...whatever happened to a solstice for 20 grand? they are all 30ish for the new ones that you cant find

i dont get why people want 22's stock.

have fun buying a new set of tires when they go bald. but i guess if you can afford the car then dropping all that money on rubber will be no prob.

as far as im concerned 22inch plus wheels seem to be made only for show. every car that has wheels that big that ive seen has so little sidewall that running over an acorn would bend the rim.

if it hits the lines it will never roll out with 22s stock. MAYBE 19's/20's but i think it would be more realistic to say 18's/19's

like i said the pictures do it no justice... once you see it in person and from multiple angles you wont think its that ugly... the only thing i'd change is the front...

but everyone is entitled to my opinion.... i mean their own....

I've always been a fan of the Camaro, I always wanted a '69 & a '72, my sister & I had a '89 IROC-Z28 the last year of the IROC for Chevy, and it was in awesome shape until it was stolen in '98. I swore to replace it, or restore one as my sister & I share our feelings for the Camaro, it will be nice to share as a weekend car, even though I want it for myself. The New Challenger is nice, and yes I agree with many of you it's very sharp looking, Chrysler has taken a very big leap in the auto indy, but they drove themselves into the ground for innovative, families not wanting all that power, which came with a price, left a tiny market for them, Dodge kept them a float, and now they turned things around. I'm loyal to Chevy/GM, I have only owned 2 of 7 cars out side of the GM family, including my xB.

In my opinion as far as american auto makers are concerned - #1) Chevy/GM #2) Chrysler last place is Ford, I just don't like them unless it's on of those NY Yankees edition Mustang or explorer, then I'd take it or the GT has to be a very special model or edition

Yeah man, a DUB Edition of that car would totally rock, it already has the DUB look to it.

F.Y.I.

I Had a 1985 T-Bird in the same/or very close to it in color, looked very much like that Mark VII you're selling, except for the trunk & front lights, (hence the other non-GM car I owned), well it almost put me inside a local B.J.'s Wholesale Club when I started up the car it just took off as if it was in gear, and floored, had it not been for those steel pole they place in the front of stores, i'd be inside that B.J.'s and to think I have people actually ask me "that's why you don't like Fords!?" icon_evil.gif I hope I don't have to answer that question!

I hate the new Camaro, GM should just die for what they did to the Camaro name.

I agree with you, it burned to a crisp. I had a 1996 Chevy S-10SS (Not an EXTREME) and in 2001 I was going to buy a special edition Camaro the last year that they were going to exsist, I got wind of it and did not buy it, instead I gave it a face-lift, and kept it even after I bought the xB. I was mad at GM for canning the Camaro, I hated Ford, but admired that they had never canned the Mustang. Instead they canned the T-Bird and brought it back, with that retro look, and with an un-RETRO-like price tag. Still I was not happy with GM, so I went with the xB. If they make this concept, redeem themselves, in my book, they would! Forget what they did? NEVER, forgive? perhaps, smoke Mustangs? FOR SURE!
