Ok more Iceled products are being produced now and should ship to Oznium next week.

It will include

Scanners
Dome Sealed
Flood
EXP

Unfortunately, the Wheel Well Kits are no longer being produced by Iceled. I am told they have had too many problems with water ingress.

Will it be possible to make your own wheel well kit ? Like using four sealed gems for instance ? Not knowing much about ice I don't know if its easy to do or if the wheel well kit was programmed in a specific way to match the patterns/colors of the UB pieces .

the wheel well kit had two specially programmed floods, and those were to be used in the rear tire wells. The were programmed to be the same color as the last pixel of the side channel, instead of what they normally copy the first pixel.

Or you can kinda cheat and hook up the front wells to the front channel, and back wells to the back channel. I think it'd look good either way.

why don't they coat the inside or fill the inside with di-electric grease? this would keep moisture out.

Would that make the wheel lights copy the inner (center-most) pixel color of a front/rear tube or the outer-most color ? I'd originally ordered the ICE wheel kit also, and if they aren't going to make it purpose-built anymore I'll have to come up with some kind of homebrew solution .
Sounds like my options might be to use floods/gems which I think would only be worth the price if they actually blended in with the UFO patterns .
Otherwise just check out those new LED strips and do single color on the four wheels . Won't work for patterns but I can still have one seamless color all around, and the price difference is huge .

Unfortunatly it won't work like Aken is thinking. The first pixel of the front/rear bars is the center most section. So the Floods would copy that color, and not the last pixels of the front/rear bars. So you would have some out of sync colors for your wheel wells.

Somehow, I just was not digging the single color glow from the wheel well and color changing UFO.

When I set the UFO to blue to match the wheel well, it looked real good.

But $300+ is out of my range for wheel glow, even if it matches the UFO.

Yes, that is what will happen. But on moving patterns, is that really a big deal? The only tubes that ever are solid with more than one color on it are the sides. So if it's moving, it's constantly changing anyway, and if it's solid, it'll still match.

I dunno, I don't have a problem with it since my whole interior is connnected to the front/back channels, sooooooo ya!

Any word on the scanners and floods shipment?

I'm assuming that those of us who are waiting will be notified when our shipments go out to us?

Not that it's that big of a deal anymore, car show season is pretty much over now anyway. icon_cry.gif

We'll they had to change all of their products to lead-free. That and they're not a manufacturer type business. I don't think they have machines to crank out the stuff...

That's forgivable, but the lack of information over the past (5?) months is not.

Scanners were supposed to be shipped to Oznium last week!

They have the machines to crank the stuff out, the problem is they belong to a seperate company, who does a lot more than just ICELED.
