Are these really good? I was thinking about replacing my stock halogen lights with these. I have a 2003 mustang and was hoping it would be compatible and I don't have to modify the interrior wiring.
How long do these last before burning out? The price seems very reasonable! rfmok |

They are good, but could fry stock wiring harnesses, and could also go out. They do have a 10 year warranty, but you'll have to pay shipping to get them replaced by PlasmaGlow.
Maybe the Sylvania Silverstars are better, but they are also a lot more expensive. |

The Silverstars are very good. Well worth the few extra bucks. I have them in all my cars. The next best lights are the PIA lights but alot more money

The Plasmaglows are more white than the silverstars and atleast on my car the plasmaglows lit up the road better also. Silverstars don't really last too long either, so ide go with the Plasmaglows.

I have had the Silverstars in one of my cars for over two years and in one of my trucks for about four years now. I have not had any problems with any of the lights yet. If thats not long then what is. I have tried other brands of bulbs that did not even last six months and were not near as bright as the Silverstars. I have had alot brighter lights before but they had to have relays and a stronger wiring harness. My preferance is the Silverstars by a long shot for the money.
