How to install LED strips?
Installing LED strips can be a little complicated if you don’t know what you’re doing, especially if you’re looking for more customizable features, like having your LEDs turn on when your engine is on.
So, you’re going to need a fuse to run from the battery – if you’re planning on tapping into an existing circuit, it would be fused already. Basically, if you want the lights to run with the engine, it would need to be a circuit that’s hot when the car is on.
Alternatively, you can also pick up products called Add-A-Fuse (aka fuse tap), which allows you to add an extra fuse and piggy back off that power supply.
You can find several LED installation wiring diagrams here:

It all depends on it you want it on 100% of the time the car is on. The easiest route would probably be the add-a-fuse way. That way you dont have to worry about adding a seperate fuse and it would be a nice and clean install. You might also want to think about tapping into your parking lights
Okay, so I have to run my LED wires through the firewall into the gloves compartment? and then tap the fuse from the fuse box there?

What fuse do u use?
The fuse size depends on how much current your LEDs draw. You should use a fuse that is slightly higher than the amount of current your LEDs draw.
