The LEDs don't put out much heat at all, but the resistor puts out heat.

The next 2 people that post will each get 5 free pre-wired superflux 4-chip LEDs with any order over $5

Oh, and they are completely waterproof!

bought some normal 5mm leds, gunna put two over each 6.5" speaker in back, and one superflux prewired, just so see how it works

speaking of led's does anyone have the star chip ones? im thinking of replacing my domelight with one. its full of over 20 white led's now but its kinda dim....

Props to phil and his crew on the work, i bought some of these from a different site before phil had em up here, and i still have about 10 of em in a baggie because they are such a pita to wire up.

2 sides are pos and 2 sides are neg. They have two of each for heat dissipation
