Okay, so like two weeks ago I was pulled over for expired tags(My bad), and while the State Trooper was standing next to my passenger side window - he noticed there were Marijuana seeds and stems on the floor.

"Sir have you smoked any Marijuana tonight"
"Nope"
"Have you recently"

Blah blah - In the end, I was asked to step out of the car, searched on the hood, and placed in the back of the cruiser. He read to me the Miranda Rights, and explained that I wasn't under arrest. He asked if there was anything in the vehicle that I didn't want him to find - and I admitted to having a water pipe under the driver seats, towards the back.

In the end, they searched my car - and he let me go with a citation because I was honest with him. This may work out for me in court showing that I am an honest person, and wasn't trying to waste his time.

Court is Tuesday(April 1st). Now the question is, should I plead Guilty or No Contest? I was also charged with Expired Tags, but that was fixed the following day.

If one thing good came out of this, I realized pot isn't worth it anymore.

Nooowww, how should I plead. Take in mind that this is my first offense for anything after turning 18(almost a year). As a minor, I had a seatbelt ticket, and a "Peal & Squeel" Hoping to get out of this with Probation & Fine/Court Fees.

Lol, too bad the pipe was used, if it was clean and new you coulda just said it was used for tobacco like the "sell them for".

I hope you learn a lesson from this.. always keep your car vacuumed out!!

You could probably get the tags one thrown out if you show them that you got it taken care of the next day. Dunno about the other.

take a aoda class and then tell them you know you have a drug problem , this has helped you see this , and decided to take the step to come clean .. usually (round here atleast) will wait untill you completed the drug class and have you come back to court show them the paper and let you go ... if it is really your first time

did they confascate the pipe? if they didn't then just nuke it with bleach and u can present in court as being a clean pipe or smoke pipe leaf so it looks used. It may be considered drug paraphenalia if they can prove it was used in conjunction with a drug. Otherwise its just a pipe.

plead guilty because you committed the crime...

Drug Periphenalia is a misdemeanor....expired tags is traffic....

Depending on your record you will most likely have to pay court fines, cost re-embursement to the PD who stopped you (paperwork), fines for having the items and community service.

haha, they just made you pay the fines, didnt want to bother with community service....I kinda figured they wouldnt...

having as little mary jane as you did in the car and only a single pipe is not their biggest bust of the year...

Congrats on paying under 500 bucks...hopefully you will realise that drugs dont payoff

no contest was the right move. Guilty could have caused problems later on down the road
