Did any of you guys know that Advance Auto Parts sells Optx Streetglow neon undercar kits? I was just in there looking around to kill time and I was surprised to see they had these, not to mention all colors, even tri-color. icon_surprised.gif They sell for $118, which isn't bad at all. Wasn't this pretty much the exact thing you got, Aken? You payed more right... probably just because of shipping though. Well, just thought I should let everyone know in case you wanted to save a couple bucks on shipping and not have to wait a week for it.

But this "animal" was weak as hell. And no one with any common sense would keep it. It isn't worth the $20 especially when you could get 2 sets of cathodes for that. icon_wink.gif

That's a neon undercar kit. Which is the same quality as the StreetGlow Blue Line kit.

I have the OPTX LED Single Color kit, which you won't find very cheap at Advanced.

Which also proves how much of a deal I got on my kit. So *sticks tongue out*

Weak as in tube strength = no better or worse than any other neon tube.

Weak as in brightness = way less than a gold series. It's the equivalent of a Blue Line kit.

I received an email suggesting I take a look at this post and kill it. While I could easily delete all posts about competitors, I am choosing not to. I feel the more information availaible, the better.

This will make Oznium stay on its toes, offering both quality and highly-affordable products. If posts about competing products were not allowed, then Oznium would not really get a sense of what the you guys want. Oznium would not change, and things would be bad.

Before buying that Optx kit for $118, make sure you know what you are getting and that it is the best for your needs.

It should be common knowledge to not get a Blue Line or Equivalent kit, unless money is the critical factor. The extra $20-$30 you shell out for a GS or Platinum is well worth it.

Congradulations, you're real funny DragonJeep icon_confused.gif

And Aken what does GS stand for, if it stands for Gold Series than it definitely wouldn't only be $20 or $30 more... it is $300 minus $118... That is $182 more = a very big difference. icon_redface.gif

WOW this thread can get annoying.

First off oliphant, You don't order off StreetGlow. They are suppliers not distributers. They sell to chain stores. Look online for the best deals. Like Shackel said you can get a GS for 130 shipped.

Here are some comparison pics to ease your mind.

OPTX or Blueline (they are the same kit)

Gold Series

The over all effect is in my sig.

I had both kits under my truck at once. Here's a shot showing the actual tubes. The one on the left is the OPTX and the one on the right is the GS.

The over all effect is in my sig.

And man, I always thought you sig was photoshopped, it really lookes it because of how bright it is. You really don't need both kits, you want to give me one? icon_lol.gif

And about my sig. No phot shop. I don't docter any of my pics. If I did I would have tinted my windows and added chrome wheels. LOL
