here is what i'm up to right now with my car PC project. I have a stock touch screen and in order to use the touch feature for the PC i had to do some crazy modding and install another touch controller and make everyting work work together with no switches and un necessary switches etc. it will just work on its own automatically now.

Its hooked up with wirless OBDII reader, I have the DVD drive in the glove box for easy acess for any disks for movies or installing stuff. a continous 3G internet feed 24/7 anywhere, Navigation, Sirius, and then all the goodies that come along with having a carPC.

I just purchased Centrafuse 2.0 for thr front end software

Regulated 12v output for LCD monitor power
Smart 160W automotive grade DC to DC power supply features automatic startup and shutdown with adjustable timing settings, and more
The included USB DVD drive can be mounted remotely for easy access.

i payed $350 for the entire package which included internal wireless, bluetooth, internal gps reciever, OBDII bluetooth reader, Sirius module, external slim dvd drive. I'm too bussy as it is and would rather just buy one pre-built. I had to do the touch screen conversion which was very difficult and time consuming. And that was the only way to get it to work. I couldnt replace the stock screen because then I would be lacking certain oem fiberoptic features, and the touch screen was a must. So yes its clean, butthats because everything was left stock
