ok i am looking to add some glow to my engine, and i would like to use the 1 foot inferno tubes https://www.oznium.com/accent-lighting

my only question is what kinda heat can these things take because i would like to mount them to the bottom of my plastic air box which is only like 6-8 inches above the engine. the tube wouldn't be contacting any hot parts put would be near them

thanks

They're tough, my rear ones are right by the brake rotors, so I'd imagine they take some heat there.

Not to mention they're both cracked in half from the extreme suspension movement, and I resealed them with silicone and they're still kicking

My 3ft inferno tube was infront of my motor and didnt even warp from heat. It should be just fine.

I just got a 3ft tube and will be mounting it on Wednesday thanks to the advice of Chad....Ive had no issues with my underbody inferno so I doubt the tube would have any issues...they seem pretty sturdy
