The drinking game with the ski poles in the ground and the Frisbee knock the bottle of the pole with the Frisbee score points anyone ever play this game? Any idea what I'm talking about?

If you have played, what did you put the bottles, some use Ski poles, but I can't find a pole that has a flat top, I assume a PVC pipe could be used with a cap on the top and a way to secure it into the ground.

Yeah googled it up, found a male fitting for the bottom and a couple that fits perfectly. Just cemented it up tomorrow I'm going to figure a way to fashion a spike to the bottom of the pipe.

If you cut the bottom of the pipe at a 45 degree angle, it should be sharp enough to poke in. Look at how a syringe needle is sharpened.

Built my own set of poles for a total cost of $15 using a hacksaw and Dremel. I also bought a 5 dollar can of spray paint which is not needed.

Test run with a bottle balanced on top.

Both poles together out of ground showing full assembly.

The turf spike in the coupler.

Supplies Needed
-4 PVC couplers
-Length of PVC pipe 1 1/4 diameter
-Two turf spikes
-Contact cement

I cut the PVC to a desired length. some where between four and five feet. Using a hacksaw.

Put the PVC couplers on either end using the contact cement, wear gloves this is nasty stuff, and open a window or do this outside.

I wish I took a photo of the turf spike. I cut the part that would be hit with a hammer to drive it down. the shaft of the spike had a hole in it for a rope to be tied to along with a hook to hold down a tarp. I cut off the top piece which had the hook attached. Using a dremel I shaved down the remaining part of the head of the spike to fit in the couple. Be careful not to dremel off too much. I used plenty of contact cement, but I had to force the spikes head into the coupler it was tight.

Paint with a plastic paint if you like.

Obviously you will need empty bottles wrapped with duct tape and a Frisbee to play.

How far apart do you typically place the poles?

Looks like a lot of fun.

30 to 40 feet.

Pretty good description of the game.
