Need help installing LED light bar

Hello all im new to all of this and i just bought one of those LED light bars from walmart and i have no idea how to install it.

Instructions say: Connect black wire to chassis ground. (no idea where that is) and then it says to connect white / black striped wire to a switched power source. (no idea where its located either)

Sorry im so new to this :/ can anyone help ?

how do you want it hooked up? all the time, sometimes? with your parking lights there are several ways to go about installing it

I want it so when i turn on my headlights they come on.

Its better so it wont be on all the time haha

hmmm well you can hook them up to your parking lights. that how i have all my LEDs hooked up. so wen i turn my parks on they come on of course.its very simple, hook the power wire form the LED strip to the parking light positive on the back you your parki/headlight switch and then hook ground wire on the LED strip up to the ground wire on the back of the park/headlight switch. and if its not long enought wire, add some wire which you can get for cheap and a local hardware store. and some butt splice connectors to ensure a good install. here are some links to the accessories you will need for the install. so you have a idea what to get, btw they sell this stuff at Wal-Mart to

Oh I see but where is my park/headlight switch located ? Sorry I'm like very new to this

the switch you use to turn your headlights on, let me ask you what vehicle its going in that may be a little easier to explain then haha

It's a 2000 Mazda protege dx and also how do I hook up the wires together just put them together ?
