Well i have finally given in and bought wheels and a system. Next purchase will have to be a sub to finish the system though.

The wheels are 18x7.5 +42 HD Wheels "Cool Down" in Blue wrapped in 225/40/18 Nankang tires.

The system is CDT CL61a-25pro, CDT HD 65-nx, and the amp is a Kicker zx650.4

Here is the audio....

Think they would be better with the rivets black instead of chrome, but still looks good.

And I will say again you need to paint that black middle bar on the front blue to match the car, would look like ****!

Looking good there Ryan. icon_cool.gif Excellent choice going with those CDT's I'll probably go with CDT's whenever I get around to installing my sound system. I think if you were to paint those center caps black they would make your wheels look even nicer. icon_smile.gif

I have to take the wheels off in a few days when my centering rings come in so when they come in i will prolly pop them off then and do it. Im not sure if there is a notch cut out so you can pop the cap off without knocking it out from the back of the rim.

I'm guessing they are probably like mine, where you just pop them out from behind the cap.

I'm not digging the blue wheels on the blue car. Just too much blue.

Love the wheels...usually I hate colored wheels unless they are black or white powdercoated but those look damn good on your car.

I agree though, center caps need to be black to flow better with the rivets that are already in the wheels icon_cool.gif

The car looks very clean. Nice icon_biggrin.gif

Sounds however, coming from an audio guy, anything to do with kicker is cheap quality. They had AWESOME product back in the mid and late 90's. Now all they have is junk. Your speakers i've never heard of so i have no idea the quality. If you want truly good subs, please save yourself time and money and get something other thank kicker, sony, rockford...they are just trash. Kickers highest end sub their SoloX would be walked on by 3 subwoofer lines of Digital Designs (ddaudio.com). I only bring them up because DDs mid line whoops the hell out of their L7. American bass, diamond, JL, image dynamics.. so many good quality brands.. just don't ruin your car and get cheap subs. =]

I wasn't going to get kicker subs had a few back in the day and wasn't too happy with them i was and am going to more than likely get a 12" W7. I cant speak for the quality of the amp since i am having issues that are more than likely being cause by my head unit.

Also CDT is of good quality never really heard anyone that has had complaints. Once i get a good head unit i will voice my opinion on the CDTs and the Kicker amp.

One head unit I've never had a problem with was kenwood excelon. We have a headunit that is 10 years old, i take that back, 11 this summer. Last summer the headunit sold for $300 used. It's great. still no issues. I would deff use that. I been trying get my hands on it without spending as much as my car for a while. =] but its the best of the best.

w7's are quality. would be a good choice. =]
