(Blues were shrink tubed to only shine from tips as a limiting technique)

Thank You, as far as led's go this was my first time, yes I "vas a wirgin" but was really happy with the end result, I must give a lot of the credit to this forum & website for supplying so much good information, which in turn gave me the confidence to give it a try. Future projects are def. on the horizon.

If you decide to upgrade these in the future, I would suggest going with prewired LED's. Right now how you have them if one LED burns out then the whole series will go out, but if you have the prewired and wire them in parallel then if one goes out the rest will stay on. Just something to look at if you do an upgrade. Looks pretty cool anyways.

Did that already using surface mounts, the jumble of wires was one of the big reasons for this change, and that was only with the one color, (the other reason, was trying to get a better color match to 8000k hid's) besides, if 1 would go out no matter this way or pre-wired, it would make me nutz, and I'd go in & fix it anyway. icon_smile.gif
