This page explains what information Oznium collects when you visit or buy from oznium.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain English on purpose.

What we collect

Information you give us. Your name, shipping and billing addresses, email address, phone number, and what you order. If you create an account, your password (stored encrypted). If you contact us, the content of your message.

Payment details. Payments are handled by our payment processors. We do not store your full card number or security code; we keep only the last four digits so you can recognise the card on your order.

Information collected automatically. Your IP address and approximate location, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how you arrived here (for example from a search engine or an ad), and the cookies described below.

How we use it

  • To process, ship and support your orders, and to answer your questions.
  • To keep your account and shopping cart working between visits.
  • To send occasional Oznium emails about products and deals. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To measure which ads and search results bring people to our site, so we spend our advertising budget sensibly.
  • To prevent fraud, keep the site secure, and improve the site and our products.

Cookies and advertising tools

We use our own cookies for login, your shopping cart, and to remember how you first found us. We also use tools from Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (the Facebook pixel). These tools may set their own cookies and receive information about your visit, such as the pages you view and whether you make a purchase.

When you place an order we may send Google and Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and postal address. This lets them match the sale to an ad you saw, and lets us show relevant ads to existing customers. The original text cannot be read from the hashed value.

You can limit this in your browser settings, in your Google Ads settings and Meta ad preferences, or by asking us to exclude you from advertising audiences.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Companies that help us run the business. Payment processors, shipping carriers, our web host, email delivery and marketing services, live chat, and the advertising and analytics tools named above. They may use your information only to do their job for us.

Manufacturers and suppliers, when needed to make or ship your order: for example a shipping address for an item sent directly from a factory, or the specifications for a custom product.

Authorities, when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or to investigate fraud. And if Oznium is ever sold or merged, customer records would transfer with the business.

Your choices

Contact us at any time and we will:

  • Show you the personal information we hold about you, and correct it.
  • Delete it, unless we have to keep it (for example order and tax records).
  • Stop marketing emails.
  • Exclude you from advertising audiences.

We answer within 30 days, and we will never treat you differently for asking.

Keeping it safe

Our site uses encryption (HTTPS), and access to customer information is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password for your account.

We keep order records for as long as we need them for warranty, accounting and tax purposes. Other information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed, or when you ask.

A few more things

Oznium is based in the United States and your information is processed here. Our site is for adults; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
